The hotel is a gem! The rooms are amazing and so relaxing, making it a perfect stay for unwinding. However, they felt a bit tired and dull with old furnishings and fixtures. The service is outstanding, with a team that really goes above and beyond. The location is absolutely perfect, with oceanfront access and a beautiful setting. The dining experience was top-notch, offering a delightful start to the day. Overall, a great choice for a luxurious getaway.

Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience! The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered breathtaking views over the lagoon with various sea life, all the way to the beach. The tranquility and beauty were just amazing. However, the room could use a bit of an update, although nothing worrisome.

The service at the hotel was top-notch! The staff went above and beyond to meet our every need, even driving us to a beach outside of their typical shuttle range. They catered to guests of all ages, ensuring a marvelous time for everyone.

The hotel's location was like stepping back to the explorer days before the island was 'discovered'. The surroundings were lush, manicured, and beautiful, with little touches like sunscreen and leave-in hair conditioner adding to the experience. Just be prepared for the isolation, as dining at the resort is the main option.

The hotel offers individual cottages with wonderful ocean views within 90 minutes of our arrival, making for a comfortable, clean, and spacious stay at the FS. The staff are genuinely concerned for your well being and enjoyment of your holiday, offering friendly and knowledgeable service at the Hulalai. The landscape, featuring a lot of lava rock, adds to the beauty and fun of swimming in locations like the Kings Pond. The dining experience, although with slow service at times, provides a taste of local products. Overall, the facilities are impressive with little touches like sunscreen and hair conditioner at the pool area.
